Subject: Panasonic DVD-R set top recorder- new :)

I just purchased a Panasonic DMRE20 DVD Recorder. I was looking at D-VHS recorder but this justt came out and I got it for only $899 US. This looks to be a promising form for storage. It records on DVD-R - which are now about $6 each and will be able to play on set top DVD players. Others may consider this.

I don't get until next Monday so I can't comment on performance now. Hope this helps those interested.
