Is CineWave a PC card?

Anyway: There is *no* possibility to record separated 5.1ch with D-VHS, nor with any other digital videorecorder like DVD or DV recorder (the film industry doesn't want it for obvious reasons).

The only possibility is to use a DVD writer for PC.

Some D-VHS recorders can record 5.1 too, but only within a DVB stream (Digital Video Broadcast) , coming from an internal receiver or from an external one, using FireWire.
