No one has yet developed a modification to any DirecTV receiver to allow recording DirecTV HD to D-VHS as far as I know. 169time is working on it I believe. You can check the avsforum for discussion about this topic. 169time has successfully modified the DTC100 for OTA HD recording to some D-VHS decks. See http://www.169time.com/ for their claims regarding modifying the DTC100.
