Subject: JVC HM-DSR100 repair

My HM-DSR100 sat. receiver / D-VHS paints wavy fluttering scan lines on my big screen monitor both when viewing direct satellite (DISH network) source or when playing previously recorded tapes. This is most visible with light, bright scenes like the sky. My other sources (DVD, etc.) do not exhibit this problem, and the monitor checked out OK by the technician, so I'm fairly sure it's the sat receiver. Has anyone else seen this problem, or know of any easy fix? No local repair shop will touch it, and JVC requires shipment to California (I'm in Colorado) with a 6 week turnaround and no promises as to correcting the problem. Thanks.
