Thanks for looking into it for me. For the time being I can't afford to dent my being in Japan budget by buying a more comprehensive machine, so I'll stand back from D-VHS for the time being. It's just nice to know that plenty of new models are available and coming if I ever need them in the future. Perhaps I'll just grab an inexpensive NTSC S-VHS machine to compliment my old PAL one instead.
