As far as I know, going from the published specs, the HM-DR 10000 never has and never will output a DV stream. The chip they use (from 2-cube) simply wasn't designed to do it. It was designed to accept DV in via the i-link (which is then converted to MPEG2), and MPEG2 input via the same i-link port. The jap spec machine is supposed to output MPEG2 from the very same i-link port.

I have never heard of a 'MPEG plug'.

Has anyone tried to access the MPEG2 stream from the i-link?
Cos thats the best your going to get I'm afraid.
