Subject: conversion of usa vhs to uk vhs

im in desperate need,i need to be able to convert an american vhs tape to an english vhs tape as i went and bought it thinkin that it would b the same and its not possible to get hold of this video tape over here.some1 please throw me a bone here it would b much appreciated.
