Hello Blasph,

Welcome to my forum. I have based my understanding of Truth on the Word of God. It has become the first and last authority for me. Jesus told those Jews who believed on him that "if you continue in My word, then you are My disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:31,32)

obviously, if you believe that these are men's words and not God's then you are not going to embrace my position. Even so, I appreciate you sharing your opinion after reading mine. I believe that Jesus is The Way, The Truth and the Life, as He stated when He was here in the flesh and as recorded by the gospel writers. If you have Jesus, you have life! He will show you the Way and you can know the Truth!

But don't take my word for this, you can ask Him yourself and He will reveal Himself to you, too!

Today I will experience the true meaning of life. Skiing in the woods with friends (no dogs), enjoying the surroundings, enjoying nature, warming by the wood stove, and sharing a meal of freshly caught perch from Lake Champlain...... and of course tossing back a few brews. To me, that is the true meaning of life. One can spend time trying to figure out what comes next, as in the after-life. I say live life, and not worry about whether or not you go to a special place after death. We're here for only a short while.....embrace nature and all it has to offer, which in my case today will consist of some awesome power runs. Live-on!
