My ski trips with Bob are a reflection of an abundant life. And I never worry about any of my needs being met because whatever I want - He wants me to have more than I want it. People who dwell on the devil and sin forget that there is a God and the victory has already been won. I heard someone describe the devil as a defeated king that is being paraded, in chains, through the colleseum for all the spectators to watch, on his way to a certain death. Even so, for some, this defeated enemy can still send shock waves of fear by his evil stares. So, as you say, it is always, always an uplifing reminder that Jesus has paid for our victory already!
