What you have in your heart will come out of your mouth. What you have in your heart is subject to what you expose yourself to. What goes in will come out. If you put the word of God in, you will reap the benefits when the crisis comes. God will and does download what He wants His people to know in the moment that it matters; He does it through the Spirit, but He can only do this to those who belong to Him. I am not ashamed to say that I belong to God. I am not my own. I am used by Him to reach people like you. I am used by God to deliver the message of hope. The message is simple and is conveyed simply in this video by this young man; whether it is staged, or whether it was candid, the message is real. God loves you! He loves you so much that He was willing to send His only Son to die so that those who choose to accept this love can live forever with Him. Only when I accept and receive this kind of love can I be a carrier of it to others. It is ultimately the only thing that matters in life. If it is delivered without love it is just a lot of noise that drives the people who need to hear it away. Learning how to deliver the message about Jesus to the world then becomes the challenge for Christianity. Many churches have watered down the message so much that it no longer has the power it once had to change lives; hence the country club Christianity that is popular today. I say, bravo! to those who refuse it! The gospel is called "the good news" and when it is preached and people receive it, it will change their lives forever! It's called Salvation and The change is swift and miraculous! It is not a religion. It is the simple Truth of God's Word that because of the life, death and resurrection of a Jew named Jesus of Nazareth that man's relationship with a holy God was restored to what it was before the Fall. Forgiveness of sin is for everyone who will receive it. Christ on the cross paid the price for all of mankind (all our sins have been - past tense - forgiven)but the Bible says that not all will receive this free gift. From that day till NOW, The eyes of man have been blinded by the Father of lies; the same enemy of God who lied to Eve in the Garden of Eden still lies to men and women today and tells them that acknowledging the sacrifice of Christ in order to receive forgiveness isn't necessary. The Anti-Christ will promote this lie by deceiving many into thinking that there is a way around it; that you don't need to be "saved" from anything. In this way, while he's not the Antichrist, bob promotes the spirit of the Antichrist. He is not alone in this; many have been and will be deceived right up till the final hour! My salvation came through the acceptance of what it says in John 3:16. This is the entry point! But, there is a Deeper Life in Christ that comes afterwards. The entry point is Jesus Christ Himself; who He was, what He did and receiving His sacrifice for our sin. Then comes the Life in Christ. The good stuff!! It is a life that some have tasted of and then gone back; refusing to come in deeper they begin to doubt and fear and when hardship comes they waver and they have fallen away (backsliden). There are churches everywhere that are full of backsliden Christians who are hiding out in the pews, giving their offerings and praising the Lord on Sunday or Saturday, or whatever day is in vogue, but whose lives are denying the power of Christ! The power of Christ is witnessed in a changed life! This is where the Word of God becomes the transforming power. Revelation is the revealing of God's will and purpose to men. It will always, always, always line up with God's Word!!! Many, down through the ages have been inspired and motivated through this power to pursue great things. It is no different today. God can do great things with men and women who have been transformed for His purposes. Great things are happening in Montpelier and Barre! I haven't been idle; I have been active in the formation of a church on Barre Street called the Deeper Life Bible Church. We have seen powerful transformations here! I am very privileged to be a part of it. The gospel is being preached here! All who visit at this forum are invited to join us at 10 AM.
