I doubt any of you even know who I am, and for the rest who knew me at one point, you probably don't remember me, but I am one of the triumvirate of original Tea Partying fiendlings. I am Sarah (aka: Irish Feet? yeah :p). My dancer was Cáitlín Monaghan (oh, geez! i can barely remember), but she sort of...slipped off of the face of Webfeis Planet because I got sucked into Harry Potter and RL shtuffs, and she became neglected.

I was feeling oddly...sentimental, I suppose, whilst wandering through my old, old graphics folders full of Webfeis templates and doodles (stuff from 2001 and the first WebO haha angst), so I decided to stop by the board and wave merrily and say 'ELLO! because I miss this game and all of the ANGST that we used to create (I got ULCERS, Laurie. I SWEAR I DID!) in order to be far more dorkier than usual.

ANYWAY wow this was random. BUT HI. ::WAVES::

I will now lurk about and be stalkerish.

Sionna couldn't wait for the doorbell to ring. She was about to host
her very first slumber party to celebrate her one year anniversary of
coming to live with her cousins in Inis! Patrick had handled all of
the invitations, inviting all of her friends from dance but not
letting her know any of the details. He wanted this to be kind of a
surprise! Sionna had absolutely no idea who - or even how many - of
her friends would come! And Patrick had been whispering to Rian all
week. He kept telling Sionna that he had a lot of fun things planned
but wouldn't tell her what these plans were! Soinna thought she
would burst if she didn't find out soon. Then, the moment came, not
the bell but a rapid knocking on the front door...

Finally, the long-awaited (well, maybe not) Part II.

So, after the impromptu Elvis dance party, and that episode with Malli’s clothes, it was starting to get dark and Caitlin C. thought the girls should sit do like at guide camp, around a fire with marshmallows, telling ghosts stories. As they were setting up, David (Andrea’s supposed boyfriend) arrived with Jonathan (her ice dance partner), Bryan (Maureen’s boyfriend), Kevin (a friend of the boys’), and Aislinn Dunne, a fellow Damhsa dancer and Kev’ girlfriend. This confirmed Andrea’s suspicions that Bryan WAS behind hiding Malli’s clothes, so she chased him around the beach.

The boys had come to crash the party but were outnumbered by girls, so they decided to leave. Aislinn wanted to stay, and she was chosen to tell the first ghost story. When she got to the scariest part, Bryan, Jonathan, Kevin, and David jumped out from who knows where, and everyone scattered across the beach, except Deirdre, who was too busy trying to get marshmallow bits off her hands, because Natalie had made it for her over the fire, and had left it too long so that it melted over the stick and could barely be pried off.

Maureen, Malli, Eibhilin, and Andrea chased the guys around, and they finally left, for good. Silvia pointed out that it was getting late, and that some people had early morning skating sessions, ("Aww, but it’s my birthday!") so everyone agreed to go to bed.

The end.

P.S. 11 days until dance!!!!!!!!!!!!! >^..^<

Everyone started arriving at Andrea's around noon. Maureen and Andrea (who had got a lift together from skating) were waiting on the steps. Malli showed up first with a little bag, barely enough to hold her clothes for the night. Then Sionna, Mairéad, Eibhilin, Nora, and Maoliosa arrived, all at about the same time. The girls started lacing their rollerblades, except Malli who was having an argument about baseball with Andrea's brother. Fionna, Caitlin, Megan, Peggy, Kayleigh, and Deirdre all arrived then and everyone set off to the beach. (Andrea's sister, cousin, and best friend from Italy rode in the mini van with Silvia and everyone's bags. Babies!)

Once at the beach Malli decided that the girls should hold a volleyball tournament and the losing team would have to be slaves to the others for 1 hour. (She really wanted the whole day, but Elizabeth, who'd arrived then, said she wouldn't be anyone's slave for more than an hour, if at all!) Andrea decided to keep score; she wasn't going to be anyone slave's at her own party! Team Malli (who appointed herself captain because the game was her idea) consisted of herself (evidently) as well as Maureen, Megan, Mairead, Maoliosa, Kayleigh, Natalie, and Nora. Team 'We're Going to Kick Your Butt!' included Caitlin, Sionna, Elizabeth, Eibhilin, Fionna, Emilianna, Peggy, and Alessia. (Alessia chose the name, just so you know.)

In the end, Malli's team won, by a single point, and Malli appointed Elizabeth her slave, and Elizabeth swore revenge...

The girls went swimming after the hour of slaving was over, and Andrea won all the races because she cheated everytime. Malli decided then that she should change before supper, and has she was doing so, Elizabeth swiped her clothes and bolted, leaving Malli with only her towel. Everyone took off after Elizabeth, and when they found her in the church parking lot, she was with Maureen, and neither had Malli's clothes. Silvia offered to go home and get some of Andie's clothes to lend Malli, which she did. Everyone waited at the Smoothie Shack then returned to the beach when Mal had new clothes. At the beach they found her old clothes! Andrea suspected that Maureen's boyfriend was somehow behind this.

Silvia had brough along a tape mix of Elvis songs (to celebrate the anniversary of his death) and the girls held a kareoke and dance party.

Ok, I'll paste this to the list later. I'm feeling lazy. Part II to come tomorrow. Before anyone writes about this in their diaries; if anyone wants to add something or correct something which they don't think their dancer would do, now's your chance!

Maoliosa decided to cancel her trip to England so that she could go to Andrea's b-day party instead!! Besides, she would rather make friends and have fun at a party than going sight seeing again(she went sight seeing in Germany which was extremely boring.:|) So she'll be coming back to her hometown soon and go partying on the 16th!!!! :D

OK, camp is over - now it's "Irish month" here in Wisconsin - Milwaukee Feis, Irish Fest Summer School, Irish Fest, St Louis Gateway Feis, then school starts! Busy, busy!

Mairéad arrived back from London just in time for Sionna's party, and is at a sailing camp this week (she'll be home on the 9th). Then she'll be at Andrea's party. And at some point, she'll be competing, of course! So she'd love to meet all the new members (if she didn't already at Sionna's or last month's webfeis.)

In other news, Mairéad's diary has been updated, Webfeis Studio has been updated, and Designs by Nancy has been updated a bit and new dresses are in the works, and I'm in the process of scanning in lots of photos for my photo gallery.

Hi everyone!!! I just joined the tea party and my dancer Maoliosa has just joined Webfeis Studio. She hasn't made any friends yet so I was just looking for anyne who would like to be her friend. I'm not forcing you guys to be her friend now. She's 13 years old and she's a beginner and she's a little shy at first but as soon as you get to know her, she's very talkative!!!

Hi, I guess you could just read the title. I am a Webfeis-Er at O'Webfeis Academy. My dancer's name is Ciana and she is just in Prelim and has a lovely dress that is covered right now, you can see it at the Costumes (Whatever) page She s dancer OWA09. ( I dont even know why but if anyones usually as BORED as it get sometimes, maybe they could look at it.

This is just an idea but.......... I think all the dancer's should get together and have a giant pool party or something. It is summer after all!!!! When/where would it be though? - Appropriately title you messages, so others will know what your post will be about (We have a huge thread called 'Kayleigh', but half these messages aren't even ABOUT Kayleigh, lol).

- Sign your names AND include the name(s) of the person / people you are replying to. (This helps avoid this kind of one-lined messages, "Sissy thinks so too!" Huh? Thinks so about what? And WHO said that!???!!)

- Be nice, blah, blah, blah. The usual.

Maureen is going to Aberdeen to visit her grandmother(in Great Britain) and then head straight to North Ireland. She is going to leave on July 7th and come back July 13th.

Also, she is bringing back two friends, Tuathla and Caoilfhionn. Is it alright if they come to any parties that are going on during the time that they are here?

They will be staying until August 12th.

My dancer got signed to two different schools! When I origionally signed up for Webfeis, I'd applied for the Clann na Webfeis school, but Theresa took a long time to reply, and I had Andrea ask Ashe if I could switch to the East region instead, since Theresa still hadn't replied, and she said I could! So I signed up for the Webfeis Studio,and e mailed Theresa to cancel my first submission. I got accepted to the Webfeis Studio, but then today I got an e mail from Theresa accepting me to the Clann na Webfeis school! I e mailed her back to let her know that I couldn't be in her region too, but who knows when she'll actually read it! AAAAAAAAAA! I'm so confused!

Sionna is planning a party for July 20th. It is pretty exciting. I know a lot of people will be out of town but if they would like to let their dancers come please RSVP. Check out her diary to find out the details but they will be going to see Riverdance and staying in a posh hotel. (New members - the way this works is RSVP then after the party I will post what happened so you can write about it in your diaries)

Does anyone think it would be a good idea to start a group e mail thing, like with yahoo groups? I used to be a member of an RPG through that, it's nice because messages get delivered right to you. We could even do some direct roleplaying that way maybe. Would that work for us maybe?

Jess: Would Sionna like to be Nora's friend? They're in the same class and Nora doesn't have any friends right now, she's lonely!

1. If you had a dance troupe, what would you call it and why?
2. Got any good Irish names? How about last names?

I'm putting together (yes, for real! it's really happening!) an Irish dance/music troupe for Renaissance Faires. I'm trying to get a list of period Irish/Scottish/Celtic/English last names, or funny names befitting the troupe. I'm actually leaning towards a French name, and there's a story with my character's mother that goes along with that (she liked France, etc) - "Gamine". It can actually be a negative comment, but I like the word. It means:

gamine \gam-EEN; GAM-een\, noun:
Etymology: French, feminine of gamin \GAM-in\
Date: 1889
1: girl of slight build & elfish charm
2 : a girl who hangs around on the streets; an urchin
3 : a small, playfully mischievous girl or young woman

I'm going with "gam-EEN", since stressing the EEN makes it sound a little more Irish. I like the name Gamine Lavigne (from Avril, a musician) but not for this character. I thought about Liddy. It's simple enough. I want a last name because of a background thing I have going with my friend, but as she's a bit of a street urchin/wanderer/reveller I don't want a very prominent/attached one.

And yes, there will eventually be a website with information and pictures and fundraising stuff et cetera. ;)

Hello everyone!

I'm going on vacation for 15-16 days starting on June 22. Sorry about that. If there is anything really important, email it to me. I will be gone for 12 days/13 nights with no computer access beginning Saturday night. then, until August 3rd, I will have maybe 1-2 days a week to come home and play online... SO I'm begging my luvly party hosts that I have enough info to update Mairéad's diary before I leave.

Here's Mairéad's upcoming schedule...
June 14 > Malli's party
June 16 > Show #1 - ???
June 22 > Webfeis
June 23 > Show #2 - Trinity
June 26 - July 27 > England (Grandmother lives in Bristol, and her dad's fiance is going to begin studying at Oxford, so she'll be bouncing around those areas mostly, although if someone else is in England those dates, maybe they could get together!)
July 28 (hey, that's MY birthday!) > possibly competing in the July Webfeis (or, she may skip it, depending on my time)

I'm trying to find time to be creative with this month's webfeis entry (we want out of PW!), but I have no idea when! so anyways, that explains Shows 1 & 2... anyone else seeing Trinity that day?

Hi everyone! Just making sure... People coming to my party I have written down are Sionna, Andrea, Miread, Mallory. Have I missed anyone? Also, Eibhilín's cousin, Sinead, who dances with Webfeis Accademy, will also be there. Some of Chris's (my brother) soccer friends have also been invited. Make sure you bring the following:
-Sleep gear and regular sleep stuff
-Flashlight (trust me, you'll want one!)
-A candle (we don't have too many, and need them for seance)
-Camera (optional, but you might get some cool pics!)
-Warm clothes (the servant's quarters get kinda drafty)
-Bravery!

Chris and I have all other things we'll need for ghost-tests! Can't wait to see you all there, it'll be a good time!

I am evidently wasting my day off from school by hanging out here for no reason.

Here is a rough schedule of stuff happening this month.

5 June: Mindy McMahon's wedding, and everyone is invited.
7-8 June: Ghost-hunting at Eibhilin's
14 June: Malli's party
14 June: Ice show in Minnesota

If anyone wants to add any more dates, you can do so.

Given the ice show, which Andie is skating in, she will only make a brief appearance at Malli's party to give her a gift. Sorry Malli!

Due to the Brightington's guest list, The Girls have to wear fancy dresses. The Mayor, all lawyers, and other VIP's will be there. People should wear what they would wear to the Oireachtas dinner. Guests should also note the pool will be open to overnight guests, which means everyone who R.S.V.Ped. Please bring your swimsuits. The girl's will be sleeping in the 4th floor of the house, in the huge guest bedroom. There is other cool things in the Brightington's house.

P.S.- please tell me what your dancer will be wearing before the 4th. DOn't ask why.

Due to the fact that Eibhilín is going to have a party on the 7th(read the message before mine), Malli, is going to change the date of her party. It will be the 14th of June. But it is not just because of Eibhilín (who shouldn't feel bad about this) but a HUGE court case is on the 7th(more about that later) and her Dad's lawyer friends( people who work for him since he is the top lawyer in the Inis law firm) have to be in court. So re-R.S.V.P or R.S.V.P.

Oh yeah a *new* dancer will be joining us. Her name is Ellie, and is Malli's friend from Webfeis dance school.

Dear Webfeis Friends,
Chris and I need your help! We've been having some ghost problems at our house and we'd like you to help us figure them out, so we're having a sort of "ghost hunting" party on Friday, June 7, to early June 8. You're all invited to come, and may arive around 6 for dinner. After that we're going to explore some of the spookier places of our house, including the attic, basement, and a secret passageway! Afterwards, we'll be heading a short ways away into our backyard to the servants' quarters where hopefully we will be able to hold a seance, and speak to the ghosts on a Ouija board! We'll also be spending the night there, as well, to do some other ghost-tests, so dress warm. It will be a co-ed sleepover, so make sure it's okay with your parental figures. Hope you can come!

Maureen is going to Aberdeen to visit her grandmother(in Great Britain) for part of the summer. She is going to leave on July 7th and come back July 29th. (just in time to dance in the July Webfeis!) She is going to visit some of her old friends and her aunt from when she lived in North Ireland, too. For North Ireland she is leaving on the August 1st and staying until the August 10th.
Tyler, Tia, and Emily Hannah are all going to live with an aunt in Ireland this year, (or as long as they can stand it!)to get them out of Mindy's hair. Maureen only gets to visit Ireland for 10 days! Ha!
(If anyone wanted to know, Mindy broke up with Brad her *almost* husband.)
