Thanks! I was actually considering this location. the experience you described is not what I want to spend my money on....So thanks very much for the warning! I'll stick to my origional plan of renting ahouse instead.

Wow are you way off base there girlfriend. I had the best time ever there on vacation. They were great! Our plane landed 6 hours late and the driver was still at the airport waiting for us. We called from the ariport in Toronto to let them know we would be late, and they were great. They even had a seperate driver for us and two guys who were comming an hour and a half after us. (If it was my camp I would of ask the first group to wait the hour and a half so they could go together)I go on vacation to relax I don't know about you, but I like not wearing a watch on vacation it's so freeing. All the trips we took they came and picked us up on time. They went out of there way to be nice and give you their time. They took me to the hidden waterfall two times in the week I was there. Basically on their own time. I also took the surfing lessons, and they were great! I would totally recommend the GISC to anyone. The only place in Dominical right on the beach. Waking up in the morning opening your door not 100 ft from the beach. Does it get better. The locals hang out there, everyone else from the other hotels hang out there (once again because it's the only one on the beach there) and at around 5pm everyday the tourists and locals sit on the beach to watch the sun set. Even the locals go everyday because it is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Because it is so close the eqator you get a double sun set. The sun is pink, red and purple at the waters edge, but the sky is still blue. then it goes too. Hard to explain you just have to see it. Go to something like google.com and look up Dominical sunsets. If you are looking for a regimented holiday perhaps this is not the place for you and you should attend a boot camp instead and leave the beauty of Dominical and the GISC to the rest of us to enjoy. I would go back in a heart beat. See you there.
