Subject: Okay... Time Out! (Re: Rudeness today & Spike's actions in ep 19) READ!

Clearly there's a lot going on here and very little of it is nice.

A whole lot of you need to CALM down and THINK before you start posting. This insane amount of immaturity displayed in the responses I'm deleting is baffling. All this fighting and insults... do you really think that's going to IMPROVE things? You people KNOW the damn rules here... FOLLOW THEM. And if you managed to ignore that little link at the top of the board titled RULES, it'd be in your best interest to check them out NOW.

And thanks to the numerous childish replies to the topic of Spike forcing himself on Buffy... it's a dead topic until it airs. (I hear the moaning and groaning already, I know...but watch me so not caring.)

Unlike many, I *have* read the scene and I do know how severe a scene it is. It is not going to be a pretty scene, that's a given. As a fan, as a shipper, as an attempted rape victim, I don't like it one bit...but I understand and accept why it exists and in whatever way it actually occurs, I'm not going to jump to any conclusions, good or bad, until I've seen it with my own two eyes. Whether you want to wait as well to freak out over it, that's your decision, but until the scene airs, no more dissecting the scene for whatever it may be. It's going to be intense and like everything else on this show there will be people who hate it and people who love it and people who see it as it's supposed to be seen and people who contort it to be their worst nightmare or dream come true. There is WAY too much freaking out and bashing and insults being thrown over a scene that HAS NOT AIRED YET!

The scene as originally scripted and filmed went through extensive cuts because the big execs who matter were seriously upset with it. We know the scene will happen, but not exactly HOW it will happen. Until then, everyone needs to relax and show some level of maturity and lay off the sensitive topics until the episodes have aired.

The season finale stretch is ALWAYS a stressful time for everyone at the board. Lots of spoilers, lots of drama and the population around here picks up. Please, as a contributor to this community here, pay attention to the rules, be NICE TO EACH OTHER, and try to keep calm about scenes we haven't seen yet? Kay?

And please forgive any confusing comments that may exist within this post. I don't sleep enough to make sense anymore! :)

-Michelle
