i have to agree with dochawk, earl.

willow not feeling any sort of remorse over killing warren would be the indicator that her morals have been greatly altered. that she no longer sees things in a viewpoint that runs with the scoobs (and us as viewers).

killing warren is not justice. it's vengeance. there is a clear difference between the two. by justifying willow killing warren we are flouting the very precepts of justice in society. by saying that an 'eye for an eye' precept is acceptable, we are essentially stating that it is okay to do what you as a SOLE person thinks is right, despite the clear rules established for the MANY.

however...i also feel that ME allowing willow to commit murder would be an interesting dynamic. both angel and faith were never really core members of the scoobies due to angel's vampirism and faith's lack of established bonds (school, etc) with the other scoobs. with those two, there was always a certain amount of 'what if?' menace to their character.

but willow is more like a family member than the others. it's very much akin (to the scoobies, at least) to finding out your own sister is a remorseless murderer.
