Looks like a no-win.

I've heard rumblings that Tara (or whomever dies) won't stay dead, that some great Power would bring the BSD back ...

And it's a lose-lose proposition.

If Tara dies, and stays dead, leading to Dark Willow, I'll be depressed. I LIKE Tara, and I like Willow, too. Willow can get all dark provided she can be rehabilitated -- I don't want to see her irredeemable or dead :(

But, on the other hand, if Tara comes back, or Willow is too quickly reformed -- that majorly undermines the sanctity of death in the Buffyverse -- already stretched paper-thin with the whole Angel-returns-from-Hell story from S3 and Buffy's resurrection in S6. Sure, people like Joyce, Jenny Calendar and Kendra are still dead, but tampering with death really runs the risk of screwing the whole premise up.

Assuming the spoilers are true, what does an uncertain fan do? "In Joss we trust" just isn't doing it for me anymore -- and that's not a good sign.

Lie to me, tell me it'll be all right :)

Take it and run.
