Not sure why this is a question -- especially with all the "reformed Spike" chatter from the past few seasons. Heck, if a mass-murdering, soulless vampire can be considered a "friend," or at least an ally of the Scoobies, what could Willow POSSIBLY do to outshadow that?

Define "enough evil," I guess is my question.

I understand the feeling -- at what point does Willow cease being "the softer side of Sears" and become something Buffy can justify killing, if need be? ME has deliberately muddied the waters here -- unless Willow does something that jeopardizes the whole world (a la Angelus and Acathla), Buffy and the others will likely decide on capture and (possibly forced) rehabilitation, or possibly cutting her off from her magics (like Spike's chip).

The problem with MY argument is, taken to extremes -- should Buffy kill ANYONE? If demons and vampires can, with time and effort, be rendered harmless, can she justify her past actions?

I admit it, I'd probably make special exception for Willow, where I would condemn Spike.

Bad me.

Take it and run.
