�Rith was a bit startled by the departure of the bats. He placed his hands over his ears for the high pitched sound was too much for his sensitive ears. After the bats had left he flitted around the cave trying to see if Jade was still there or not. Her scent lingered still but barely. He figured she must have slipped past him when the bats flew out. If only he knew where they were going. He flew quickly from the cave and used his sensitive hearing to try to track the bats. Why do I have the feeling I'm not going to catch her....? Oh well, no big loss I suppose. She'll come back after she's won. Despite his little talk with himself he flew on. He had picked up the high toned screeching of a group of bats in the distance ahead. He hoped it was the right group and flew in the direction of the screeching.�
