The shell may have been young and inexperienced, but the ghost was certainly well aged and seasoned. Eyes the color of atlantic water falling upon the adult fae, the youth couldn't help but present the other female with an imperfect smile. Imperfect was such a malpropism [I think that's how it's spelled LOL]. Last week she lost her two front teeth and so in place, she had "windows" instead of continuous rows of ivory. Sun-kissed curls framing the creature's face, the child curtsied akwardly. Well she knew Othoe's destruction, but frightened she was not. Long ago, she had inadvertently foretold her own death when the child saw the death of another. This battle would not take her life and so, Liaryth remained unafraid. Rose petals parting, the child spoke, her voice coated with child-like innocense.

Don't cry, Mayleena. Othoe won't win. Good always triumphs evil.

Yes. She knew the fae's name. Our essences bear the names granted upon all as babes and Liaryth could read those unseen scriptures. Or at least parts of them. She was still very young and interpretting what she gazed upon was often difficult. Time and experience would correct that minor flaw. Form lowered to the earth, the child grasped the remains of a trampled Forget-Me-Not and smiled as she stood. Abused flower cupped within her tiny hands, the innocent passed her breath over the fragile blossom. Hands lifted to the adult, she offered the other a rejuvinated flower.

Have faith.
