Like a white explosion Vulcan bursts out of the forest and begins to make a round of the valley at break-neck speed. Six other horses ... Keiisonar and Torbin, Destiny, Rose and Bel, Jamie ... straggle at a rousing canter toward the centre, some watching Vulcan as he disappears away from them .. others talking amongst themselves. A short distance behind, a mare of startling golden hue canters ... she snorts nervously, her eyes darting all about. Coming back around, Vulcan screams again. His place, his herd ... he was home. XD)) .;.Blue Sun stood still letting the mare sniff him. He could sense that she was scared. The colt looked towards Torbin and nodded. Normal...it's not really a familiar concept for me, but I think I understand..... He snorts softly and thinks of a way to communicate with the mare. Sun suddenly remembered the way he used to communicate in his first home. As to not scare her, he slowly and delicately placed his horn on her foreleg. He thought of different thoughts...that would add up in the mare's mind as "Hi...my name's Blue Sun. Don't worry, you'll like it here for sure." He stepped back and turns to Torbin suddenly remember his own little surprise. Notice anything different about me, Torbin? Her pointed ears have vivid scarlet edges as if the tips have been dipped in fresh blood. Torbin tilts his head as he watches her thoughtfully, then looks back at Sun. Rose does it, it's like ... body language ... like ... feeling ... he snorts, ears flicking backward momentarily as he expresses disgust at his inability to describe the concept. He whickers to Bel, nudging her. She play-nips him and looks with frank curiosity at the unicorn colt. Hey, a unicorn! Aren't you? She looks over her shoulder at a tall palamino yearling. Hey, Dest! Is he a unicorn? You could just ask him... Torbin comments wryly, pulling a face at his younger friend. Destiny turns and ambles over, shaking herself. Mmmhhmm...
