.;.The colt was feeling especially down today for seemingly no apparent reason. His legs lead him to the glittering ice pond that held the her sapphire which were the only remains of his Aunt Ice Enchantress. Blue Sun settled down at the edge of the pond and nuzzled the ice as if he expected a nuzzle back.
Aunty...? Momma always told me that you were the only one who knew about the old magic of the unicorns. The real reason I came here to the valley was to learn that magic from you. Heh...surprisingly, I was appointed the job of the Sorcerer. But when I came...I found this. A cold, hard, ice pond...I wish you were here right now. I can't go back home now, but there's no one else like me here either.
The colt sighed and slowly stood up to walk away. But when he did...something glowed inside of the pond. Blue Sun stared at it and realized it was Ice's jewel...the sapphire. In awe, he continued to watch as the sapphire broke through the ice. Something in Sun's insticts told him to lower his silver horn to the gem and so he did. The moment the silver and the sapphire touched...a bright white light blinded the colt. His knees buckled and he passed out....;.

.;.A bluebird landed on the still colt's head and bites his ear. With a startled expression on his mug, he wakes up and nips at the bird playfully. Suddenly, Blue Sun remembers what had happened before he fell unconscious. Slowly, he rose to his feet and peered into the frozen pond. It glittered with a new light, it no longer reflected blue from Ice's sapphire, but was as clear as a diamond..for Blue Sun's diamond was encased in the frozen water. The colt's pools widened so far that they it looked like his eyes were traveling off his face.
Wha...that means...
Blue Sun gave an excited buck. He was now able to perform the magic of the old days of the unicorns. This was a weight that not just any unicorns could carry. With a new sense of pride, Sun trotted around the terra, weaving in and out of trees..;.
