In reply to: Vulcan 's message, "OOC - EIGHT ISN'T OLD!!!!!" on 03:05:22 08/31/03 Sun

My Calling:

Cloud Dancer

My Curse:

Female

My Survival:

8

The storm clouds gathered, their mass swirling and twisting into blacker and blacker forms, billowing over the trees. The moist wind that shot through the land, twisting hairs and coats into messy arrays now brought a mist, so light it was hard to feel, and only seen if one looked hard. However, the mare did not move, brown eyes shut to the oblivion, until her silver 'auds took in footsteps, and her proud dial turned to face the approaching.

Ah, her Lead. She bowed her head appropriately for him, smiling amiably, eyes kind. "And greetings to you too, M'Lord. Beautiful night, wouldn't you say?" She couldn't think what his answer would be. Some hated storms, though she was not one. She reveled in them. Her twisting mane made her white flecks go unnoticed, her eyes sparkling with life. She couldn't wait for the rain to begin.

And perhaps if you wanted to know

My Calling:
Cloud Dancer
My Curse:
Female
My Survival:

A crash echoed through out the land, soft, yet rumbling with a power known to few of Earth's elements, making one's bones shiver in their places. Lightning forked in the distance, touching the Earth with a crackling noise, reaching the ears of the others seconds later. The clouds billowed, overthrowing the Earth, dousing shadows, dissapating light. Rain splattered along in a sheet, before softening, becoming a mere rainfall, normal in appearance.

The mare lifted her own silver'd nose to the air, her soaking tail slapping wetly on her flanks, her coat turning close to black, as it soaked up the moisture. The wind brought a chill, thought the thick hide and hair of the horses would be able to withstand it as long as they did not stay soaking wet for too long. A tree would solve that. But for now, the mare was content, her prime form slightly older than others in apperance, though her mind was younger than some. Dancing slightly on delicate ankles, her part Arabian heretige evident in the arched neck, and flicking footsteps.

"Oh, I wish it would rain like this year round!" She replied to him, smiling at the approach of Seeking Storm. Her musical voice asked, "And what do you think, Storm, of this rain?" The mare smiled, brown, expressionate eyes cast to the horizon in hope of prolonged rain.
