Once again, my reference was to assimilation in general.

Of course, my orignal assertion was erroneous because it presumes, quite falsely, that there is one "Black" culture in America. But my premise was based on the assumption that you are wanting the world to assimilate into one mass culture, what a tragedy it would be for those that have struggled so long and hard to have to give up their uniqueness for the "good" of everyone else.

Would you really want to replicate America's history in dealing with unique cultures throughout the rest of the world? It has been a mixed bag. Smaller cultures have been absorbed our outright destroyed (most Native American cultures) and we fought a Civil War because our nation was split into two larger subcultures.

I would much prefer to give each country its autonomy than to entrust my rights to "the world."
