You are talking about class, now, not culture. I stated very clearly that the definitions of our culture must be broad and general. You then go on to say that they are broad and general. What is your point? Denying that America has no culture of its own is utterly ridiculous. It most certainly has an overlying culture with subcultures that exist beneath it. I gave you several examples, and these examples do not apply to all western civilizations. There are similarities, but this is not a fair assessment.

Our culture is extremely media driven. We work very hard in this country. We are strongly anti-socialistic for the most part. We are reclusive. We watch a great deal of television. We like acquiring things. The vast majority in America is prudish about sex and alcohol and drugs. Our women suffer major obsessions with eating and weight. We, as a nation, are fat. Should I go on? If you cannot see that this is all derivative an overlying culture, then more than likely you are being willfully blind.
