Subject: It never fails to amaze me

People's sense of denial never fails to amaze me. The human race would so much rather cling to false notions of the way they would like things to be rather than the way they are. Humanity is the most assinine lot of creatures on the earth. Just as we all know there is something drastically wrong with the way we do things to the earth, raping forests, balding mountains and spoiling our streams, we choose to turn a blind eye and put our faith in someone else to govern our lives for us. People are sheep waiting for a shepherd. Thick-headed, ignorant sheep.

What man has the courage to see and to stand up for what he knows in his heart to be true? Give me a stone to toss, and in a day of throwing, I would not hit one. Though, I might do the world a bit of good by hitting the others. Evil prevails, as King said, because good men do nothing. So, too, is it with religion. All men have doubt. To deny doubt is the height of stupidity. To deny doubt is not courage, it is fear in its most ugly stage. To turn a blind eye to that which might be true because we don't like what we see is the height of selfishness, discompassion, and apathy.

I have been accused of harboring an apathetic philosophy. I have been accused of being without compassion and purposeless in my life. Yet, I challenge any man to put his sight and his "right" before mine, for I deny nothing. To deny one thing is to deny any possibility within myself, and this I will never do. When a man discludes possibilities, he negates his own infinity. The Universe is constructed of possibilities. There are no impossibilities that I know of, lest they fall from the lips of men who think to limit themselves and each other. Would that I could put them on the mighty unsinkable Titanic and send them down the river!
