Subject: Another one for the literalists

Anybody know how much food and fresh water would have been needed aboard the ark? Considering that the world was flooded, that would make the flood water mostly salt water and undrinkable, therefore pretty large tanks must have been built for the ark. I'd say with a rough estimate of 100,000 animals (not including insects) at an average of 2 gallons a day for 40 days means that there should have been tanks enough for 8,000,000 gallons of water. I wonder what sort of cleaning facilities they had. Must have been a powerful stink in there.

This is not even taking into consideration food, dung production, nor stalls...
