I have had some experience with pedophiles, and it is my experience that they are not gay, but simply disturbed. The Gay Report, as all "reports" of qualified standing should never be taken at face value. It could be that the "investigators" had prior motivations to slam gays by associating them with pedophilia. This is not unheard of.

In most cases, pedophilia is not even about sex so much as control of another human being. Many times these individuals simply cannot maintain relationships with adults because they are themselves extremely immature. These people most often have difficulty in other social environments as well. There is not even a specific link to one's parents molesting. It is not always the case that the molested becomes a molestor, and not always the case that a molestor was himself molested.

The issue of gayness vs. pedophilia is best kept divided in my opinion. Those that wish to combine such "researches" may have hidden agendas and sexual issues of their own! Who is to say? We must always question the people who disseminate this information to us.
