I went in expecting what I got, no more nor no less. I thought it was a good film, better than what Lucas gave us last time with his Phanton Menance, but also in some respects with the same idea --- an introduction to a series. Between the two, I think Harry Potter did so, and left unanswered questions as a feed to further movies, as with the real conflict (as I expect) will be in other films. Instead of having Darth Maul said to be the big bad booga, who is easily defeated, we have someone who appears to be defeated but isn't -- and so, there is potential at least, and what was there, was again, not large on plot, but, in its way, it seemed to be an Alice in Wonderland for our era..
