Subject: BS or not

I would be interested to hear why you think my second idea was BS. Just calling it BS is a valid opinion, but it is not terribly informative to me, nor does it help me to clarify my stance on the issue. I would also like to hear why you think Chomsky's comments were BS. You also accuse him of not sticking to his area of expertise, but he wasn't really saying anything political or economical in the above statement. He was speaking of cultural values. Would you mind expounding on your ideas?

And for the record, men may think of other things and be right, even when it is not in the field of their expertise. Many of our greatest men were not restricted to one endeavor, nor was it becoming for them to restrict themselves to one enterprise. To restrict men and to denounce their efforts into other fields hints at a resistance to change and an openness to newness. I believe we should always be striving to accept change and newness, for to fight change is a hopeless battle...
