I've heard a lot of debate about the future of the space program so I'll throw the questions I've heard raised without any comment on my part. Please banter them about as you will.

#1 Are these scientific experiments so cruical?

#2 Should we be risking lives for these experiments?

#3 Is it all worth the money? Do we have better things to do with our money?

#4 Shouldn't we just let these things be funded by private corporations if the research is so crucial?
