The discussion isn't over Attendance numbers nor does it have anything to do with your personal (biased -- as is mine) observations. What other way is there to determine the % of religious orientation than by asking people?!

Furthermore, the point I was making was that Adilbrand seemed to be falsely characterizing Christians as hypocritical, close-minded bible beaters. I was pointing out that a lot of Christians are compassionate, thinking liberals based on the number of Christians and the numbers of people who support gay rights.

If you seriously want to argue that Christians are a minority of the population, please provide some evidence instead of flailing blindly at mine.
