As a fellow book reviewer, I sometimes wish someone would say something if they have anything to say on the topic so here's my two cents.

This book sounds interesting.

I tried reading This Present Darkness by Peretti once but found it to be too much. I guess I never bought into the ritual abuse and sacrifice thing, at least not on the massive scale that it was reported in the 1980s, so I found it to be pretty silly and I quit after about 100 pages or so. Ironically, I just posted some comments on that topic in a conversation started by MVD called "The Essence of memory" about the same time you posted this review. Here's a link to my comments (because why would you want to read anyone else's?): http://www.voy.com/6367/12829.html

The book you reviewed sounds much more up my alley.

Also - please do not feel that I have the monpoly on reviewing books on this forum. I am not bothered at all and I know that Adilbrand has found them interesting so at least one other person will be reading them.
