I hate to leave a message hanging, especially when you've made a good-sized list and put some thought into it.

Like on many things, our opinions diverge on the topic of music. However, taste in music is like taste in food. If you like spinach and I do not - how can I tell you that you are wrong?

I'm not too fond of folk music, but I do have a big soft spot for John Denver, who started with folk and really sang in that style for the most of the rest of his career.

I do strongly agree with you about Johnny Cash. His wife recently died. I did a speech about him at Southside Jr. High - I remember how much she helped him fight his drug abuse (he was an addict in the 50s - before it was 'cool' and before there were treatment centers available throughout the country. June Carter Cash was his treatment center.

Also like the Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel a lot - I appreciate S&G's music more the older I get.

The Eagles...you mentioned how you can't really listen to Tori Amos any more...the Eagles are that way for me.

Speaking of bluegrass - there used to be a big bluegrass festival in northern Brown county or Southern Morgan County at a campground - is it still going on? If so, you might want to check it out.
