A guy who didn't see the obvious would keep playing whether resignation was an option or not. Why would he resign if he thought he still had a chance?

I have played games where you have resigned, and I had no idea why you were giving up. You have just said, "It is obvious you are going to win." It sure wasn't obvious to me... and I learned nothing from your resignation of said games.

I don't understand how my argument is circular. I have been resigned on many times (and not just by you). It just makes me mad. If the "winner" cannot see it then the loser should not resign. Period.
