Subject: Book Review: Rise to Rebellion

I just finished Rise to Rebellion by Jeff Shaara. It is historical fiction covering the events leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the beginning of the Revolutionary War. The book begins in March of 1770 with the Boston Massacre and ends in July of 1776. Shaara's writing style is excellent. He has you wondering if some events will turn out the way you have always been taught they do. It appears to be very historically accurate. He follows the lives of 4 major characters throughout the book: John Adams, Ben Franklin, British General Thomas Gage, and George Washington. This is a MUST read.
