Well spoken. I think I will actually write that one down. It is really the first thing said here that does make me say, "maybe I'm not a christian or catholic."
That does seem to be the core of so many peoples belief and even faith. That the most important thing is belief in christ.
I don't think it does make me a non-christian to not believe it but..
Telemachus, what is your opinion here: Is christianity pretty much defined by believing in christ and believing that something is achieved simply by the belief??
What else defines christianity so generally?
Vince, I'm interested in what you say here too, although I assume your opinion is somewhat obvious already.
