Hey Omega! I'm curious...

Could you illucidate me (and others, perhaps) on the names of the different branches (departments?) of the Catholic church? To be more specific, I always thought that all Catholics were just Catholics, and the phrases "Roman Catholic" and "Irish Catholic" were just that, phrases. But, when I was on your site I saw that you identified yourself as an Orthodox (Byzantine?)Catholic. I was wondering what that meant, and if you could give a thumbnail sketch of what its all about?

I just hate to be so shockingly ignorant of one of the world's largest organizations.
