>I have a 95 Tahoe and it does the same thing that it sound like your truck is doing. Except i haven't had any noticable problems with gas mileage. Mine when it first starts off will rev up high and sound like the is no oil in the motor or something but it will all of a sudden change an run as smoth as can be. And it nomally doesn't change when it shifts gears. It will be between 2 and 3 usually and all of a sudden sound like a different truck. Then when i stop at a red light it will do it again when i pull off. But when i drive around alittle i can stop and go and it won't do it. i don't know what to do.
