i like the alternate script but killing xander would have been dumb. apparently when anya got knocked down at the end of season 5 and xander picked her up she was meant to die but then she moved so they kept her alive. she wanted to leave buffy this season anyway but didnt want to die, then when she found out it was the end of the series she wanted to die so that she wouldnt have to come back on any angel eps. dumb eh but still good riddance i say she was just taking up unnecessary space really.
