Congratulations to Donna Cochrane for gaining a New Zealand Champion title for her young boy Thorn who now becomes NZ Ch Chilolo SS Risky Bizness (Imp Aust). Thorn gained his title at 13 months and 2 days of age and is Champion Number 44 for Chilolo.

My thanks to Donna for her dedication in developing and training one very naughty puppy!! Next stage is the obedience ring - good luck Donna.

Thorn's sire is Ch Ketchwayo Majumdar (Shilo) and his dam is Ch Chilolo Sorrento Blue. My thanks also to Ann Christie, owner of Shilo for agreeing to let me breed him to Sorrento. This is Shilo's first litter. Thorn's litter brother, Justin (Chilolo SS Just A Chance) has won a Best in Group from Puppy Class and is about half way to his title and litter sister Lulu (Chilolo SS Chances Are) has some points towards her NZ title with Gavin Laughton in Auckland.

This wraps up a great year for us here at Chilolo with a Best in Show All Breeds (Ch Chilolo CJ Someday Sam). His litter sister (Ch Chilolo CJ Chicken Ripple) was Challenge Bitch and RUBIS at the National with an entry of over 220 in breed classes. Ripple's half sister, Ch Chilolo Eternity Ring was Reserve Challenge at the National. BIS/BISS Ch Chilolo SX Ice on Fire was Reserve Challenge Dog at the National and also Best in Show at the Melbourne RR Open Show. Chilolo SJ Brash N Sassy was Best of Breed and Intermediate in Show at the ACT Hound Club Show.

And the next generation of puppies sired by Cracker (BIS/BISS Chilolo SX Ice on Fire) is looking great with Darrel Mills' Zimbalooba Boom Man winning several sweepstakes, class in group and show including Runner Up in Group and he has not yet turned 12 months of age.

Looking forward to getting out and about in the show ring again next year and in the mean time, I wish everyone a very merry (maybe not too merry!) Christmas and a happy healthy New Year.

cheers

Rosemary and the sound brown hounds at Chilolo
