Landlady of haunted pub joins seance to meet
her ghost-

The landlady of a haunted pub believes she has made 'contact' with her resident ghost after being visited by a team of exorcists. Karen Ridley, 37, agreed to join a seance with the spiritualists after some unnatural disturbances at the Black Horse pub in Billingham, Teesside. She said: 'We apparently reached a young black girl from the Continent who was murdered in 1992, but whose spirit could not rest due to the circumstances in which she was killed. 'The girl said she was wandering in limbo for six years and eventually found her way to the Black Horse.
'I asked questions of the girl and she answered yes or no by causing the table to rise off the floor slightly.'
Karen said the girl had asked for help by drawing attention to herself, such as turning on taps, switching on lights, and moving beer barrels in the cellar. 'These were all things I'd noticed and I asked her if she was responsible.
'The spiritualists suggested she ask for a guardian angel to take her to heaven if she needed help. 'They said they'd laid her spirit to rest and I wouldn't be disturbed again.
'But I'm not really sure it's worked. I've already seen things out of the corner of my eye since then. So I'm not happy yet and I don't even know if that was the answer to the ghost's identity.'
