Age 18: Broke out all over my body in "sores" similar to psoriasis, then they mysteriously dissapeared. Dr. baffled.

Age 21: Severe, blinding headache over one eye, vomiting, blurry vision..2 trips to ER..no diagnosis..treated with Demerol..(never had headaches before or since like that.

Age 22: Got out of bed to answer the phone, fell face first to the floor; both legs numb.
This went away after 3 hrs. Never saw a Dr.

Also, a bout of severe itching during second pregnancy; Dr. gave me "liver shots". This disappeared after baby born.

Age 24: Diagnosed with severe Hypothyroidism.

Age 40: Severe fatigue set in.

Age 46: Bad "virus" type illness, aching body, weakness.

Age 48: Work-up with Urologist beacuse of bladder pain, frequency and urgency, blood in urine, he found nothing remarkable.

Age 49: Woke with blurry vison and eye pain, lasted 2 days; then woke with stiff neck, finally saw Neuro, because I thought it was from "after" effects of car accident 4 yrs. ago. She thought not, put me through her office tests; I failed most all them.

I also had burning face, ear, scalp, numbness left side. Pain in left hip. Severe fatigue.
Upon waking,very shaky, tremor-like feeling.

Sent me for MRI, brain/cervical spine,
bloodwork, EMG; all these came back negative. Had a carotid/vertebral ultrasound, will find out results of this today. (have NO idea what she was looking for there).

She has me on Neurontin, Vioxx. I see her again today, and want to see about getting off these drugs. My remaining symptoms are: Weakness on left side, dropping things, stumbling because left foot drags, left hip pain, burning of right leg from knee down to ankle. I absoulutly cannot tolerate heat, I swell and it makes me very weak, and am very tired most of the time.

My sleep is horrible, waking all during night, over-active bladder still.

All in all, other than these problems, I have had a pretty un-remarkable health-wise history.

Sorry if this is so long, but it pretty much covers it!!
