About 6 years ago I hurt my neck. I had just ignored it till last year when I hurt myself at work. I had a cervical Mri done I found out that I had two
cervical herniations c5-c6 and c7-t1. I wound up quiting my job because I kept injuring myself at work. I went threw every type of thing that the
Doctors tell you to do when you have herniations and nothing helped.
The end of last year I changed Doctors. I wound up with a Doctor that was just ok, They had this other Doctor in the same office that I had gone to
in January that I really liked. The end of January beginning of Feb. I started have back pains in my lower back, I didn't do anything about it I could
walk awhile 20 minutes befored having to sit down Though also started hurting when I stood. About April I started not feeling well, nothing specifec
just not feeling like myself nothing I could put my finger on. In May I had this horrible headache it was so bad that I was crying. It started in my neck
in the back and the way up my head. I called the Doctor's office they were gone but the Doctor I have now called me back, called in a script for
pain pills. By this point my neck and everything to do with the herniation was hurting. I went in to see the Doc he checked me. He said I had muscle
weakness in my left arm, my right arm was rigid, and it seemed like forever to get my legs to have any reflexes whatever if anything that meant. He
had me do a Mri in June for my neck. I told him about my lower back that I seemed to be able to walk or stand less in time, as of today I'm lucky if
I am able to walk or stand even 5 minutes and I started to be constipated.
My Mri came out with the c5-6c herniation. It seems that right after that all the symptoms showed up. When I think about know I had some sensoey
symptoms, strings touching me or things crawling on me that were not even there. I went to the eye Doctor because of blurry vision, double vision
and burning eyes wether it be water in my eyes or tears. The eye Doc did a field of vision test on me which showed nerve damage to my eyes. I took
this info back to my GP who had an Mri on my head done which of course showed no lesions. Everyone thought that nothing was wrong until I read
that a Mri may not show anything If the disease is just starting so of course we are back to square one. I go to a neurologist Aug 28 Terrified he will
not find anything or he will find something. My Symptoms are, fatique all the time,my lower back prolems, weakness in both arms and hands and
pain in them also my thighs used to just feel heavy walking up stairs anymre they feel heavy all the time. Balance problems, muscle spasms, stiffness,
and cramps, numbness and tingling in arms but mostly numbness and tingling in my feet. A lot of tremors in my arms and hands. Constipation, and
bladder problems. It seems as if I have a lot of stiffness, all over in my arms and legs, anymore I feel like I have spasms and stiffness all of the time.
So that is my story I am sure it sounds like a lot of you out there in limboland. Ginlyn
