Hi Peggy,
My nuero had me call him every 4-5 days until we reached a good dosage So going by that I woudl say yes time to call him and asking for an increase. It probably won't releive all your symptons but will tone it down so that it is bearable. A spinal tap isn't that bad, I won't kid you it hurts but it wasn't horrible. You have to lay down for at least 45 minutes after ward before leaving and then plan to take it easy for a few days resting and drinking lots of fluid espeailly caffine drinks. If you do get the head ache they can do something called a blood patch which will relieve it almost imediatly. pardon my spelling, i've taken an extra muscle relaxer this morning as my upper back and neck are in spasm and I'm a little foggy.
Good luck
SAM
