Isn't the sensitivity to heat unique to MS? They used to submerse a person in a tub of hot water to see if that exasorbated thier symptoms as a method of diagnosing MS.

Yes!!! I think what you are describing is the same as what I am trying to describe as "punched in the chest" "wind knocked out of me" "funny falling feeling" & then a wave of other symptoms follows.
I have a hard time describing symptoms. The way you described it is perfect. Yes! That is what it feels like!
Mine varies in degree of severity. Sometimes it's just a little wave, other times it is huge. Very frightening!!!
Oh! How I wish I had a firm dx!!!!
