Hi Tara
Like you, I'm not working. Some days, when I'm feeling a little better, I get overly ambitious. I feel as if I really could have a job. I take on all sorts of projects & make all sorts of plans. I love work. It gives me a true sense of worth.
Inevitably, after I've started 20 projects & have got supplies for 20 more spread out all over the place, I get "hit" with the wave of sickness, crappy sensations & etc. You know the drill.
Sometimes I have to wait up to a couple of weeks before I can get going on the projects that I started again.
This disease really sucks. Not knowing what to expect is the worst part of it.
Next Neuro visit I'm going to talk to her about going on disability. It's so hard to do. It's hard to imagine that I won't be better by tomorrow, & able to do all of the things I love. But, I haven't been able to work at all for 4 months now. That sure has been taking a toll on our family. Plus all of those huge medical bills...
