To all of us,
I don't want to bring any of you further down, but sometimes even a worsening of symptoms does not guarantee a diagnosis. I'm already on a cane, but have so many symptoms that I don't fit the pattern of any one disease. I can't pass the standard neurological tests, but 2 MRI's and 1 spinal came back normal. The EEG came back weird and so did some autoimmune markers, but that's pretty much it. It has now been 3 years and by experimenting with different combos of meds, my neuro has me to the point that I can enjoy some activities instead of being in bed 24/7. I hope you all have doctors who will work with you (mine is on the clams list). Next week I'm going to a new neuro for a 2nd opinion (my doc requested it), so there is a possibility that fresh eyes might see something. I REFUSE to get my hopes up because they have been dashed too many times. I wish for all of us a diagnosis of a treatable disease.

Love,
Tara
