>I have had this type of ache also for over 15 years. It is in both hips mostly at night and sometimes if I walk to much my hips will start aching and sometimes I will have sharp pain. I always thought it was arthritis but a few weeks ago I had hip xrays and it shows up normal. No calcification, no arthritis, no thickening, no fractures or anything! Was I ever surprised. That is one of the reasons my pcp decided that I need to follow up with a neuro.

Hope yours won't last long and it is one of those symptoms that come and go
