[> Wowm where do we start? First, there has to be a size limit on props and a time limit for each event on stage too. Some girls were on that stage WAY too long and it was unfair to others when they were still doing their routines and the MC's were already saying "thank you (name). -- Anonymous, 02/10/09 3:13:58pm

[> well I think size of prop should not matter or length of time on stage but he should let you have custom music.. remember the point of citrus is CW . -- Anonymous, 02/10/09 3:48:15pm

[> Time on stage should matter when there are girls up there for 3-4 minutes or more and others are being thanked before they even get to the last "X". I saw it happen several times in each age group this past weekend and that is not fair to everyone. If there was a time limit, all would get the same amount of time on stage period. -- Anonymous, 02/10/09 4:00:46pm

[> What was his deal with having to pay for the scores when nothing was said at all until Sunday at crowning about having to buy your scores. He ALWAYS mailed them out within a few weeks after the pageant, so why make us buy them now? We already had to buy a ticket to enter each day, even if we wanted to watch our kids compete. He should at least include 1 entry ticket per child competing. -- Anonymous, 02/10/09 4:02:57pm

[> [> OK here is the thing, I hate being nickle and dimed at a pageant. If you want to charge us then fine, I mean OF COURSE we want to watch our children, we would love to have our scores, just put it all in the initial price, don't keep saying extra for this and extra for that, drives me crazy. You should charge one price for entry all weekend too. Not complaining about the cost just put it all in the package price so we know up front. -- Anonymous, 02/10/09 4:36:16pm

[> I do not think there needs to be a limit on the size of the prop. I do think there should be a time limit on stage. You should be allowed to use your own music. You should definitely get at least one ticket to each event. We should NOT have to pay for scoresheets. -- Anonymous, 02/11/09 10:08:53am

We had a great time at the pageant. I do not think there needs to be a size limit on Citrus Wear. That is a big fun, key part of this pageant. Everyone loves to see what people come up with. Any new people to the pageant can look at pictures, or watch the video. There are no excuses for being unprepared. We knew what we were up against our first year. I do think there should be a time limit. That is one way to level the playing field. Some girls were up there so long it was boring and some were on and off. That would make it more fair. Custom music would be so great! You spend so much time and money and effort on the props and costumes and then you can't finish it off with music and you end up with some goofy song playing that has nothing to do with your theme. Michael should definitely give at least one ticket to each event. Most big pageants do that. They know you HAVE to be in there with your child so it would be very professional to provide the mother a ticket, it's not like every contestant does not bring more people with them that will buy tickets. To have to pay for score sheets is not fair. Like parents do not pay enough already.

[> [> I disagree with no size limit the props this year were extreamly large and it took extra time and too many people to get them on stage. I do agree with the time limit some just dont get the "leave them wanting more". -- Anonymous, 02/11/09 12:02:10pm

My little girl was fussy during interview... but she is also a baby so you cant expect her to be perfectly content at all times.

[> The biggest complaint among all us pm's was the time limit for citrus wear. You definitely need one! And yes, yoy should limit prop size or it will totally go out of control! That's what happened at AGG years ago, it became more about the props- who can make one even bigger than the next girls'; and they had real problems then with it, so they discontinued the props altogether. it is so much better now, and focuses more on the actual girl and outfit. -- Anonymous, 02/ 6/10 5:04:33pm

And I go to all of them with my friend and her daughter. I have seen some dinky crap. At least Michael honors people with good locations and integrity and beautiful prizes. It gets so much worse in pageant land. This guy is the best!

I love his pageants. I've been in many and I find that he is fair. Actually, I've seen practical UNKNOWNS win the big prizes. This is why I think he's so fair. And how the hell is he always so supportive??????? I love that.
