Subject: Baby needed, soon!

My 10 German Shephard has been diagnosed with Degenerative Mylopathy (MS in canines) and I anticipate having to part with her in about 3 months. As much as I dread the idea of losing her, I'm looking ahead to getting another dog and have investigated and feel I would like a black, male, Standard Poodle. My husband and I are empty nesters with no young children in the home. We live in the country where there would be plenty of room for exercise and long, daily walks. I have the means to offer excellent veterinary care and would provide plenty of love and "babying" for the right dog. I will be willing to meet and/or discuss details regarding this breed as well as any other requirements to adopt/rescue.
