My point is IF you are a member of either of the two pet sitting associations you receive and are required to abide by the "code of ethics". One of the codes is NOT TO DISCUSS YOUR RATES With OTHER PET SITTERS...bizarre as it sounds! My caution stems from other sitters I have known who have received warnings and threats to be "kicked off" the associations for "breaking" their code of ethics.
Just be careful not to break those codes IF you are a member. Silly, since it only encourages lying amoung one another.
When newbies contact me that is my response to them when asking me directly and honestly about my rates.
